ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Multicultural Youth & Community Program is part of the First Panamanian Marching Band of Brooklyn NY Corp and focuses on youth development, cultural engagement, leadership, discipline, and community participation through music and the performing arts.

Our program provides children and young adults with opportunities to grow through rehearsals, cultural activities, performances, workshops, and community events in a positive and inclusive environment.

Through music and cultural experiences, participants develop confidence, teamwork, cultural pride, leadership skills, and meaningful connections within New York’s diverse multicultural communities.

Youth receive training in music, marching, discipline, teamwork, performance preparation, and leadership development.

CULTURAL
WORKSHOPS

Participants explore Panamanian traditions, rhythm, history, identity, multicultural awareness, and cultural appreciation.

COMMUNITY
PERFORMANCES

Youth participate in parades, festivals, cultural celebrations, and community events throughout New York and neighboring states.
